Job summary

Superior Electrical, Mechanical & Plumbing, Inc. seeks an Electrical Foreman to plan, coordinate, and supervise commercial electrical installations under project management direction.

The Working Foreman will lead journeymen and apprentices, ensuring NEC compliance, productivity, and deadlines, with a strong background in retail construction. Licensure may be required or preferred; travel and overnight shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Six or more years as a commercial electrical journeyman with at least two years as foreman.
• California Journeyman Electrician certification preferred but not required.
• Valid driver license with ability to pass pre-employment drug test and MV background check.
• Strong English literacy to communicate with management.
• Must be available to work nights or travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise journeymen and apprentices in commercial electrical installations.
• Interpret blueprints and layout work for crews.
• Conduct toolbox talks and trainings for electricians.
• Install commercial electrical equipment and fixtures; conduit, raceway, and cable tray systems.
• Troubleshoot motor control systems and EMS/Ansul Systems when required.
• Ensure NEC standards, safety and project deadlines.
