Job summary

Responsibilities include takeoffs from drawings, reviewing bids, collaborating to adjust costs, using Accubid, maintaining estimating SOPs, and upholding safety and CR Meyer standards. Some travel to project sites nationwide is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in estimating or project management for electrical construction.
• Strong knowledge of Accubid software preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; able to learn CR Meyer software.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and OSHA 30 training.
• Legally eligible to work in the United States; valid driver’s license.
• Willingness to travel to project sites nationwide.
• Commitment to safety and company policies.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, review, and finalize estimates for electrical heavy industrial projects.
• Perform takeoffs from drawings and screen calculations.
• Collaborate with Project Managers, design-build teams, and owners on cost changes.
• Use Accubid to support estimating tasks and develop SOPs.
• Maintain estimating systems and contribute to department procedures.
• Ensure estimates meet specifications, standards, and deadlines.
• Represent CR Meyer professionally and ensure safety compliance.
