Job summary

Konecranes is seeking a Supervisor, Electrical Engineering KNES in Wisconsin. You will direct the electrical engineering group, oversee design, testing, and startup of crane control systems, and ensure compliance with NEC and safety standards.

You will lead engineers, drafters, and interns, coordinate with other departments, and travel domestically and internationally to nuclear and government facilities as needed. A strong leadership background is required.

Qualifications

• Must have BSEE or BSEET.
• 5 to 10 years of electrical engineering/drafting experience (AutoCAD).
• PLC and HMI programming experience, and experience with variable frequency drives (VFDs).
• Rockwell, Siemens PLC/HMI and Magnetek VFD programming experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct the electrical engineering group, including personnel and equipment.
• Lead design of power and control systems for overhead cranes and hoists.
• Review electrical panels, SCCR, arc flash analysis, and coordination studies.
