ZelTech, a leader in national security research and engineering, seeks a Senior Electrical Engineer / Technical Innovation Advisor to drive development and transition of electrical and electronic technologies for unmanned underwater vehicles. You will provide technical leadership across design, integration, and testing, collaborate with government, industry, and research partners, and guide technology maturation from concept to operational capability.

Qualifications

• US citizen with active secret clearance.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and 10+ years in electrical/electronic design.
• Experience designing, analyzing, and testing electrical components and subsystems.
• Experience integrating electrical systems into UUV/AUV or similar platforms.
• Systems engineering and multidisciplinary integration experience.
• Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to stakeholders.
• Successful background and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership in design, development, integration, and testing of electrical and electronic systems for UUV and AUV platforms.
• Serve as technical advisor, helping transform emerging technologies into operational capabilities with government, industry, and research partners.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and identify opportunities to develop innovative solutions that improve mission effectiveness.
• Lead development of system architectures and electrical designs for next-generation unmanned maritime systems.
• Develop and refine system, subsystem, and component-level requirements for innovative technologies.
• Oversee end-to-end system integration activities including hardware, power systems, sensors, communications, payloads, and vehicle control electronics.
• Plan and oversee laboratory, environmental, integration, and field testing to validate electrical performance and readiness.
• Provide technical oversight from concept through prototype demonstration to operational transition.
