EG&R Engineering PC, located in Cranbury, NJ, seeks a Lead Electrical Engineer who is self-motivated and ready to contribute to the firm’s growth. You will lead electrical protection, control and layout design deliverables for Power Plants and Substations.

Responsibilities include preparing schematics, single lines, calculations, and equipment specs, plus supervising engineers and designers while supporting field construction and ensuring NEC/IEEE/ANSI standard compliance.

Formación

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in electrical engineering from an accredited institution.
• Engineer-in-Training (EIT) or PE licensure pursued or desired.
• Strong knowledge of electrical distribution/Power Systems and standards (NESC/IEEE/ANSI).

Responsabilidades

• Create electrical protection & control and/or physical layout design deliverables for Power Plants and Substations.
• Supervise and coordinate Electrical Engineers and Designers in day-to-day tasks.
• Review and support substation design details, grounding, lightning protection, and power systems.
• Develop protection and control designs including panel and wiring diagrams.
• Prepare calculations for grounding, lighting protection, and load studies.
• Prepare equipment specifications for procurement.
• Provide short-term field support during construction.
