A multi-disciplinary engineering firm based in New Jersey is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to create and manage electrical design deliverables for Power Plants and Substations. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and 4-8 years of relevant experience. Strong organizational and communication skills are essential for this position, which supports teams in designing complex electrical systems.
Qualifications
4 to 8 years of experience in Engineering and Design for Substations and/or Power Plants.
Desire to obtain Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification and ultimately Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Proficiency with National Electrical Safety Code and IEEE / ANSI Standards.
Responsibilities
Creating electrical protection & control and physical layout design deliverables for Power Plants and Substations.
Preparing electrical schematics and specifications for electrical distribution systems.
Supervising Electrical Engineers and Designers.
