Job summary

WFCO Technologies in Elkhart, IN is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to analyze customer requirements and apply electricity, electronics, and electromagnetism to identify gaps and develop or enhance electrical products. You will lead the Engineering Team on ongoing projects and drive new initiatives.

This role requires a Bachelor's in Electrical Engineering, 5+ years of experience, strong analytical skills, CAD proficiency, and the ability to collaborate with international teams.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering; will consider an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience: 5+ years of Electrical Engineering experience, preferably within an industrial field.
• Certifications: N/A
• Functional Skills: Strong research, planning, organizing, prioritizing and execution skills; strong analytical and critical thinking; attention to data; CAD proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Defines customer needs and requirements to design, control, and implement electrical solutions.
• Designs electrical solutions meeting customer needs and safety standards.
• Designs electrical schematics, PCBs, and assemblies.
• Manages engineering projects and coordinates with departments for on-time delivery.
• Provides OEM engineering support and assists in integrating products into new customer designs.
• Leads the Technical Service Team in troubleshooting product issues.
• Analyzes product performance using data and testing tools for development.
• Collaborates with Taiwan Manufacturing group on project success.
