Job summary

L3Harris Technologies is seeking a Lead, Electrical Engineer in Hilton Head Island, SC to oversee electrical system architecture for laser transmitters and testing equipment. You will drive design, analysis, and component selection while supporting high‑voltage electronics and related manufacturing activities.

The role requires substantial experience, deep knowledge of LabVIEW, and the ability to guide engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience, Electrical Engineering. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop electrical system architecture for laser transmitters and testing equipment.
• Support glass shop, melt equipment and other high-voltage electronics; perform technician duties as needed.
• Provide technical guidance to the engineering team and ensure adherence to industry standards.
