Job summary

Revamp Engineering, Inc. seeks an Associate Principal Electrical Engineer to lead interconnection and power systems studies for utility-scale solar and storage projects across the U.S. You will mentor junior engineers, manage scopes, budgets, and schedules, and serve as a primary client liaison with utilities.

This role may be performed remotely from almost anywhere in the US or Canada. Candidate brings 8+ years of power systems experience, mastery of PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, and ASPEN, and strong

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s, Master’s or PhD in electrical engineering (Power focus).
• 8+ years of experience performing power system studies for interconnection.
• Hands-on with PSS/E, PSLF, PSCAD, ASPEN and related software.
• Knowledge of interconnection processes across ISOs/utilities.
• Strong technical writing for submittals and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection projects across multiple ISOs and utilities.
• Guide clients through sizing, submission, scoping, and reviews.
• Review study assumptions, identify issues, and request re-studies.
• Develop and oversee interconnection models and study outputs.
• Prepare reports and present results to clients and teams.
• Mentor junior to mid-level engineers and manage staff.
