Job summary

Cubiq Recruitment is seeking a Staff Electrical Engineer for an established industrial power and control systems manufacturer in South Windsor, CT. The role focuses on detailed design, specification, and integration across power distribution and PLC/SCADA interfaces, including FAT/SAT and commissioning.

The position demands 10+ years of experience in complex industrial electrical systems, NEC/IEEE compliance, and hands-on ownership of electrical integration.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in industrial electrical engineering.
• Experience with power distribution and control system design.
• Familiarity with NEC/NFPA 70E/UL/IEEE standards.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop LV/MV power distribution and industrial control systems.
• Size, specify and select transformers, control panels, power conversion equipment, VFDs, UPS systems, breakers, relays and associated components.
• Develop and review single-line and three-line diagrams, schematics, wiring diagrams and electrical specifications.
• Oversee the electrical integration of PLC/SCADA systems, instrumentation and controls.
• Perform electrical calculations, cable sizing, arc flash assessments and design risk analysis.
