Job summary

Logitech is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer in San Jose, CA, to drive electrical design from concept through mass production. You will work with cross-functional teams to specify, simulate, and validate hardware while ensuring regulatory compliance and robust performance in real-world environments.

You will leverage advanced tools (Cadence Sigirity/ANSYS, HFSS, CST) and high-end test equipment to troubleshoot and optimize EMI, USB/MIPI/HDMI interfaces, and PCIe signals.

Qualifications

• Background in Electrical Engineering or Physics.
• 10+ years electronics product design experience.
• Familiar with simulation tools such as Cadence Sigirity or ANSYS.
• Proficiency with high-end diagnostic and troubleshooting equipment including Spectrum Analyzer, EMI receiver, VNA and Signal Generator.
• Mastery of global standards such as FCC, ISED, CE Mark, and KC; knowledge of Korean Radio Certification and FCC protocols.

Responsibilities

• Concept: define electrical/compliance outline with cross-functional teams.
• Simulation: use tools to identify risk areas and mitigation strategies.
• Design: review/create electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and layouts using CAD software.
• Troubleshooting: identify root causes and cost-effective mitigations.
• Compliance Testing: perform EMC testing (Radiated/Conducted) and address failures.
• Pilot builds: support builds if needed.
