Job summary

L3Harris Technologies in Cincinnati, OH is seeking a Lead, Electrical Engineering - Hardware Design to drive the design and development of ruggedized electronics for ordnance applications. You will lead cross-functional teams, coordinate testing, and mentor engineers while interfacing with customers and stakeholders.

The role requires strong expertise in analog/digital design, power conversion, and design reviews, with potential to obtain a Secret clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field with extensive experience.
• 5+ years designing analog building blocks (diff amplifiers, op-amps, LDOs, filters, data converters).
• 5+ years designing digital building blocks (gates, flip-flops, timers).
• 4+ years with power conversion concepts (AC/DC, DC/DC, DC/AC, linear and switching).
• 4+ years troubleshooting with standard lab equipment.
• 4+ years experience schematic capture/board layout (Altium, PADS).
• 4+ years leading large-scale technical projects.
• 4+ years designing and participating in design reviews.
• 4+ years creating technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Design analog and digital circuits for ruggedized ordnance electronics.
• Conduct circuit tolerance analyses and simulations.
• Develop requirements and ensure compliance.
• Create test plans and reports for product performance.
• Lead tests across the product lifecycle.
• Lead root-cause investigations using structured tools.
• Prepare engineering orders and change proposals.
• Mentor electrical engineering staff and multi-task on projects.
