Job summary

NJR Clean Energy Ventures, a subsidiary of New Jersey Resources, seeks a Sr. Electrical Engineer to lead and manage a technical team in delivering solar and CHP projects. You will set program standards, oversee construction and O&M activities, and ensure safety, on-time delivery and budget adherence.

The role requires a PE license and/or PMP, strong communication, and 25–35% travel to project sites. Hybrid work options are available, with competitive base pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 7–10 years of experience leading engineering/construction teams.
• PE license and/or PMP certification preferred.
• Willingness to travel 25–35% to remote project locations.
• Strong MS Office and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee engineering and construction teams on solar/energy projects.
• Negotiate and manage EPC agreements for clean energy platforms.
• Lead project management staff and ensure on-time, within-budget delivery.
• Oversee O&M outages and commissioning plans.
• Support senior NJR management with reports and presentations.
• Build internal and external relationships to foster collaboration.
