Job summary

Peter Kazella and Associates, Inc. is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for High Performance Computing data centers in Denver, CO.

The role focuses on designing robust electrical power systems for mission-critical facilities, coordinating with clients, vendors, and trades to ensure reliable operation. Ideal candidates will have 10+ years in electrical engineering for data centers, deep knowledge of power distribution, UPS, generators, switchgear and NEC compliance, and strong project leadership

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required.
• 10+ years experience in electrical engineering for data centers.
• Knowledge of NEC and life safety codes.
• Experience with UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs.
• Ability to lead and coordinate design teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage electrical design for data center projects of various scales.
• Develop distribution systems, topologies and equipment layouts.
• Coordinate with mechanical, CSA, and integration groups.
• Review drawings, calculations and one-lines for quality and reliability.
• Interact with vendors, clients and utilities to finalize specs and construction documents.
• Support RFPs, proposals, and commissioning activities.
