Job summary

Gilder Search Group in Denver, CO, is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for high-performance data center projects. You will design critical power systems, lead multi-discipline teams, and coordinate with vendors and utilities on fast-track HPC/hyperscale builds.

The ideal candidate has 10-15+ years in electrical engineering for data centers, PE license preferred, and deep knowledge of UPS, generators, switchgear, and medium/high voltage distribution.

Qualifications

• 10-15+ years experience in Electrical Engineering.
• Experience with data center MEP / A/E processes.
• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) a plus.
• Experience with data center electrical systems including UPS, generators, switchgear, PDUs.
• Knowledge of NEC and life safety standards.
• Strong communication with clients, utilities, and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for data center facilities across projects.
• Develop electrical distribution systems and select equipment.
• Coordinate with Mechanical, CSA, and Integration teams.
• Review drawings and calculations for reliability and constructability.
• Oversee external design firms and ensure schedule adherence.
• Interact with clients, utilities, and vendors to finalize specs.
