Job summary

Qualifications

• Typically 15+ years of proven experience focusing on pipeline facilities.
• In depth knowledge of natural gas industry standards and codes (IEEE, NEMA, NFPA/NEC, API, AGA, ISA, ANSI).
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• SKM Software knowledge desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Chief Electrical Engineer in proposals and training.
• Prepare or review discipline project specifications and requisitions for inquiry in purchasing equipment and subcontracts.
• Approve technical bid evaluations with Procurement.
• Prepare and review/approve switchgear and MCC layouts; develop or review one line diagrams and area classifications.
• Direct/observe factory acceptance testing of equipment and review vendor documents.
• Coordinate with client personnel on electrical activities and prepare engineering/status reports.
