Job summary

STV Incorporated is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to lead the design and delivery of electrical systems for a diverse portfolio of commercial, institutional, healthcare, higher education, federal, transportation, and public-sector projects on the Denver team.

The ideal candidate will provide technical leadership through all project phases, with expertise in power distribution, lighting, fire alarm, emergency power, and low-voltage systems, and will coordinate with architects,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited program.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license required (Colorado).
• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience focused on building systems design.
• Proficiency with Revit, AutoCAD, SKM, ETAP or similar electrical design and analysis software.
• Thorough understanding of NEC, NFPA, IBC, energy codes, and applicable industry standards.
• Experience coordinating with multidisciplinary project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for building projects.
• Prepare calculations, design analyses, specs, reports, and construction documents.
• Coordinate electrical designs with mechanical, structural, civil, and architectural teams.
• Review and seal engineering documents per licensing requirements.
• Support project planning, budgeting, and scheduling.
• Mentor junior engineers and foster technical growth.
