Job summary

6 Degrees Search is partnering with a growing, employee-owned engineering firm expanding into the Phoenix market to support semiconductor work. The Senior Electrical Engineer will establish the Phoenix office and lead its growth, staff projects, and develop the electrical practice.

You will design power distribution for industrial and critical facilities, perform short circuit and arc flash studies, and coordinate with process, mechanical, and controls teams to deliver integrated facilities from

Qualifications

Licensed Professional Engineer (Electrical) with Arizona registration or the ability to obtain it.
Experience leading electrical design for industrial, semiconductor, life sciences, or similar process-driven facilities.
Desire to learn and grow along with the new office.

Responsibilities

Serve as the firm's local point of contact for clients in the region.
Hire, mentor, and develop engineers and designers as the office grows.
Work with the firm's other offices to staff and deliver projects.
Design power distribution for industrial and critical facilities, including low- and medium-voltage distribution, motor controls, lighting and lighting control, standby generation, and fire alarm.
Lead electrical design from basis of design through construction documents, construction administration, and startup.
