Responsibilities

  • Lead electrical system design for new builds and renovations.
  • Manage schedules, budgets, and deliverables as assistant project manager.
  • Conduct field investigations, code reviews, and site surveys.
  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
  • Build client relationships and help maintain a 95% referral rate.

What You'll Do
  • Lead electrical system design for new builds and renovations
  • Act as assistant project manager, managing schedules, budgets, and deliverables
  • Conduct field investigations, code reviews, and site surveys
  • Mentor junior engineers and coordinate multidisciplinary teams
  • Build client relationships and help maintain our 95% referral rate
Qualifications

What You Bring

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (or related)
  • 1020 years of experience in power distribution, lighting, and controls
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license required
  • Strong skills in AutoCAD or Revit, AGI32, SKM or Easypower
  • Proven leadership and communication skills
  • Fieldwork experience, including the ability to handle site conditions
Bonus Points For
  • MV (Medium-Voltage) distribution experience
  • RCDD certification
  • Federal sector experience (UFC, UFGS, FAR)
  • Existing client relationships in NC/SC, Mid-Atlantic, or South-Central U.S.
  • Knowledge of higher education and NC State Construction Office systems
