Job summary

CLM Search in Andover, MA is seeking a Senior/Principal Electrical Engineer to drive next-generation power conversion technology. You will own designs from concept to production, focusing on high-density DC/DC/AC/DC power stages and high-frequency switching, with close collaboration to R&D, manufacturing and customers.

The role requires a BSEE (MSEE preferred) and 4+ years hands-on experience in power electronics, magnetics, modeling, and control theory to deliver differentiated products.

Responsibilities

A highly engineering-driven U.S. power semiconductor & electronics company is expanding its R&D organization and looking for a talented, motivated Electrical Engineer to develop next-generation, high-density power conversion technologies.

The company is known for its proprietary 48V-centric power architecture and highly integrated DC/DC converter technology, delivering exceptional power and current density for demanding applications across AI/data center infrastructure, aerospace, automotive and other high-performance markets.

The Role

You will take ownership of power converter designs from initial concept through production, working hands‑on across:

• DC/DC converter and power conversion circuit design
• High‑frequency switching topologies and control architectures
• Circuit simulation, modeling and analysis
• Component selection and optimization
• Feedback control, analog and interface/logic circuitry
• PCB layout and EMC considerations
• Product specifications, testing and validation
• Manufacturing transition and technical documentation

You’ll work closely with R&D, manufacturing, engineering and customers to develop highly differentiated power conversion products.

Qualifications:

• BSEE required, MSEE preferred
• 4+ years of hands‑on power electronics design experience
