Job summary

FootBridge is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to support industrial projects involving power distribution, lighting, grounding, and electrical infrastructure. The role spans from facility improvements to large EPC/EPCM assignments across multiple sectors.

The candidate will design MV/LV distribution, prepare drawings, and provide technical leadership while ensuring compliance with NEC/ANSI/NEMA/NFPA standards. Travel to project sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Experience designing medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution in industrial settings.
• Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, and NFPA standards.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD; Revit experience is a plus.
• Ability to manage projects, prioritize workload, and meet schedule and budget objectives.
• Degree and PE license preferred; EIT candidates will also be considered.
• Willingness to travel periodically to project and construction sites in the area.

Responsibilities

• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, grounding, and electrical systems.
• Develop conceptual designs, equipment specifications, and construction scope documents.
• Prepare engineering deliverables including wiring/interconnection drawings, loop sheets, and cable routing drawings.
• Support project planning, scheduling, execution, startup, and commissioning activities.
• Review field installations for design compliance with codes and safety standards.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and provide technical leadership on projects.

Schedule: Hybrid (4 days onsite, 1 day remote)

Overview

Our client, a leading engineering and project delivery firm, is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer to support a variety of industrial projects involving power distribution, lighting, grounding, and electrical infrastructure systems. This role offers the opportunity to work on projects ranging from facility improvements to large-scale EPC/EPCM assignments across multiple industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution, grounding, and electrical systems


• Develop conceptual designs, equipment specifications, and construction scope documents


• Prepare engineering deliverables including:


• Wiring and interconnection drawings


• Loop sheets


• Cable and conduit routing drawings


• Support project planning, scheduling, execution, startup, and commissioning activities


• Review field installations to ensure compliance with design requirements, safety standards, and applicable codes


• Coordinate with multidisciplinary engineering and project teams


• Provide technical leadership and mentorship on assigned projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field


• Experience designing and implementing medium- and low-voltage electrical distribution systems in industrial, manufacturing, or consulting environments


• Strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NEMA, and NFPA standards
