Job summary

Gentis Solutions is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer for Industrial Power Distribution to lead design efforts on critical facilities and capital projects. You will own electrical design from concept through construction, coordinating with client engineering and maintenance teams in a hybrid work environment.

The role requires hands-on experience with medium- and low-voltage power distribution, and strong knowledge of NEC, ANSI, NFPA standards. Travel to project sites is required.

Lead Electrical Engineer – Industrial Power Distribution

Location: Hybrid | Cincinnati, OH; Greenville, SC; Raleigh, NC; Appleton, WI; Kansas City; Birmingham, AL; Baton Rouge, LA; Salt Lake City, UT; Savannah, GA; Mobile, AL

Compensation: $160,000–$190,000/year

Schedule: Approximately 3 days onsite and 2 days remote

Openings: 10

Travel: Some travel to project and construction sites

About the Role

Gentis Solutions is recruiting Lead Electrical Engineers to support industrial facility and capital projects, with responsibility for electrical design and direct coordination with client engineering and maintenance teams.

What You’ll Do

• Design medium- and low-voltage power distribution systems for industrial facilities and capital projects.
• Develop electrical drawings, specifications, design packages, and construction documentation.

• Apply NEC, ANSI, NEMA, NFPA, and related electrical codes and standards throughout project delivery.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong electrical engineering experience supporting industrial facility and capital projects.
• Hands-on medium- and low-voltage power distribution design experience, including electrical drawings, specifications, and construction documentation.
• Strong working knowledge of applicable electrical codes and standards.
• Consulting engineering or construction industry experience supporting industrial projects, including independent onsite project management and direct client collaboration.

Experience in pulp and paper, chemical, food and beverage, consumer products, or pharmaceutical environments is a plus. EPC project experience and a PE license—or EIT with a clear path toward PE licensure—are also preferred.
