Job summary

Intellectt Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Design Lead to head the team responsible for developing electrical schematics, GA’s, and BOMs for client products. You will ensure regulatory compliance, maintain CAD blocks, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver robust engineering solutions.

The role emphasizes leadership, design integrity, and adherence to quality systems, with a focus on continuous improvement and risk mitigation across the project lifecycle.

Qualifications

• Relevant engineering qualifications (BEng/MEng/CEng preferred) or comparable industrial experience.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Electrical Design / Electrical Engineering role.
• Proven strong leadership and team management skills essential.
• AutoCAD Electrical experience or similar (E-plan advantageous).

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the electrical design team, providing guidance and support.
• Oversee the design and development of electrical drawings (Schematics & General Arrangement) and BOMs.
• Ensure designs comply with UL standards and regional regulations.
• Maintain CAD blocks and libraries for compliance.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless project execution.
• Conduct design reviews and provide technical expertise to the project team.
• Check Schematics, GA’s and BOMs against quotes for engineering accuracy.
• Drive continuous improvement within engineering.
• Ensure Health and Safety procedures per company policies.
