Job summary

Celestica in Maple Grove, MN is seeking a Staff Engineer, Electrical Design to lead the design and implementation of advanced electrical systems. You will create schematics, Bills of Material, diagrams and drawings while guiding a team through testing and validation processes.

You’ll work in cross-functional teams with customers, manufacturing engineering and project leadership to ensure robust product development and quality. AS9100D exposure is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience leading cross-functional engineering teams.
• Knowledge of electrical system design and schematics.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, development and implementation of complex electrical systems.
• Provide technical leadership to a sizeable engineering team.
• Review customer requirements and develop deployment plans.
• Design and modify schematics, BOMs and diagrams.
• Test, simulate and validate system performance.
