Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in Enoch, Utah, is seeking a Senior Design Engineer to lead the design, development and documentation of low- and medium-voltage switchgear and power distribution systems, providing technical leadership and mentoring within the engineering department.

You will ensure compliance with IEC, ANSI, UL and IEEE standards, review customer specifications, support manufacturing, testing and post-shipment activities, and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Qualifications

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline.
7+ years of experience in switchgear or power distribution equipment design.
Experience leading complex projects from concept through manufacturing and testing.
Experience mentoring or training engineers.
Advanced understanding of low- and medium-voltage systems (up to 38kV).
Knowledge of IEC, IEEE, UL, NEMA, etc.

Responsibilities

Lead design, development, and documentation of switchgear and distribution systems.
Provide technical leadership, mentor engineers, and support continuous improvement.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and customer requirements.
Review customer specifications and provide input during project execution.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including mechanical, PMs, and manufacturing.
Assist in issuing engineering drawings using CAD software and templates.
