Job summary

NESC Staffing LLC seeks an Electrical Design Engineer in Omaha, NE to design electrical aspects of facility systems including power, lighting, and telecommunications. Responsibilities include coordinating with other engineers, leading client meetings, and managing budgets and proposals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering (or equiv).
• PE registration required.
• 5+ years of experience in designing Building Power, Lighting & Telecommunications systems.
• Proficiency in technical writing.

Responsibilities

• Design all electrical aspects of facility/building systems (power, lighting, telecommunications).
• Manage and supervise electrical technicians to complete projects timely and cost-efficiently.
• Conduct feasibility studies, design, construction documents, and oversee projects through construction and startup.
• Coordinate with other engineers for synergistic solutions.
• Lead client meetings and address issues related to projects.
• Manage technical challenges, and contribute to proposals, reports, and budgets.
• Oversee Electrical Engineering aspects (Power, Lighting, IT/Telecomm, Special Systems) in projects.
