Honeywell Aerospace US LLC in Lancaster, PA seeks a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to drive end-to-end electrical design and project leadership. This role oversees design activities, supports production, and guides a cross-functional team in delivering innovative aerospace electrical systems.

The ideal candidate has 8+ years in electrical engineering, solid defense industry experience, and the ability to obtain a US security clearance.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of electrical engineering experience with a lead or senior role
• Strong knowledge of electrical design principles and standards
• Proficiency with electrical design software and tools and ability to lead design efforts
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities for complex electrical challenges
• Experience in the US defense industry
• Ability to obtain a US security clearance (citizens only)

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical engineering projects from conception to production support
• Design work including CCAs, cables, subsystems, and test equipment
• Write design disclosures, requirements, and test plans
• Provide technical expertise and guidance to team members
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
• Design and develop electrical systems and components
• Conduct feasibility studies and analyze technical requirements
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes and regulations
