Job summary

Mytra is seeking a Senior Electrical Controls Engineer to own electrical designs from architecture through production for robotic factory automation. You will lead electrical architecture, select components, design control panels, and develop wiring diagrams, BOMs, and manufacturing docs.

This hands-on role demands collaboration with mechanical, firmware, and safety teams to transition prototypes into scalable production.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years designing electrical systems for industrial automation or robotics.
• Strong experience with control panels and electrical schematics.
• Experience with PLC-based control systems and I/O architectures.
• Hands-on debugging and development from prototype to production.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical architecture and design of automated systems.
• Design electrical control panels, power distribution, I/O, and safety interfaces.
• Develop wiring diagrams, BOMs, and manufacturing docs.
• Collaborate with safety engineers on functional safety controls.
• Specify PLCs, remote I/O, drives, sensors, and safety components.
• Develop machine-control architectures and integration plans.
• Build prototype panels, troubleshoot wiring, and support commissioning.
• Drive designs from prototype to production with cost and reliability balance.
