Job summary

Kiewit in Kansas City is seeking a Commissioning Electrical Superintendent to lead the safe and efficient commissioning of major electrical systems on large industrial projects. You will oversee pre-commissioning and functional testing activities, ensuring that systems are prepared for turnover.

The successful candidate will have experience with electrical safety procedures, manage a team of technicians, and coordinate closely with engineering and construction teams to achieve readiness milestones.

Qualifications

• Experience in power distribution, switchgear, transformers, generators, and UPS systems.
• Ability to lead teams of approximately 20 technicians.
• Familiarity with completions software and electrical system readiness workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with electrical safety procedures.
• Coordinate pre-commissioning, commissioning, and start-up of electrical systems.
• Supervise functional testing and troubleshoot electrical system issues.
• Maintain accurate commissioning documentation.
