ECNS Global Consultants PLLC in the United States is seeking a Senior Commissioning Engineer to lead major electrical and power system commissioning programs, overseeing planning, testing, and turnover. This full-time hourly role requires 10+ years of experience, a PE license, and an ABET-accredited electrical engineering degree.

Travel up to 100% is expected, with overtime opportunities and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in electrical engineering (ABET-accredited).
• 10+ years in electrical testing, commissioning, startup, or power systems.
• PE license is required.
• Experience with commissioning and testing of protective relays, switchgear, transformers, SCADA, and related equipment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; excellent communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead major commissioning programs from planning through final turnover.
• Oversee complex electrical and power system commissioning activities.
• Review and approve commissioning procedures, test plans, and reports.
• Lead troubleshooting and root-cause analysis of system issues.
• Manage client relationships and technical coordination.
• Oversee project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to project teams.
• Ensure compliance with codes and safety requirements.
