Job summary

Anduril Industries seeks a Lead Electrical Architect to shape the electrical backbone of AI Factories and deployable command centers. You will translate CONOPS into robust electrical requirements and guide development across hardware, software, and supply chains.

This role demands 5+ years in electrical product design, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to travel up to 15% while engaging with defense customers to deliver scalable, field-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of engineering experience designing and deploying electrical products.
• Ability to translate CONOPS into electrical requirements and architectures.
• Experience with MCUs, CPUs, FPGAs and board-level design.
• Experience with ECU/LRU design and harnessing.
• Track record of releasing products to production and delivering to end-users at scale.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills across engineering disciplines.
• U.S. Person status and ability to obtain security clearance.
• Travel up to 15%.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end architecture of AI Factory tactical data centers and deployable centers.
• Conduct architectural trades balancing performance, manufacturability, and scalability.
• Bridge Systems Engineering and Electrical Engineering to translate CONOPS into detailed requirements, architectures and modules.
• Design air-transportable, modular systems (containerized, palletized, vehicle-mounted).
• Collaborate with Lattice and AI/ML teams to meet mission-critical software requirements.
• Lead prototyping, field testing, and operational validation through military exercises and deployments.
• Interface with defense customers to translate operational requirements into technical architectures.
• Drive systems from concept through production at scale across hardware, software, supply chain, and programs.
• Define module constraints, interfaces, and communications protocols.
