Job summary

SpaceX in Redmond seeks a Lead Operations Engineer to empower the environmental health and safety teams. You will lead a team of operations engineers, build dashboards, and drive data-driven safety improvements across sites. You will collaborate with software partners, deliver training, manage projects, and communicate with leadership.

This role requires 5+ years in data analytics/EHS operations and willingness to travel to U.S. SpaceX sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 5+ years in data analytics, EHS project management or EHS coordination.
• Experience with data visualization and dashboards.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement dashboards and tools for the EHS department.
• Analyze data related to environmental monitoring, incidents, and safety performance.
• Collaborate with teams across sites to solicit feedback on systems.
• Provide training sessions and materials on safety applications and visualization platforms.
• Coordinate with software teams to improve applications and manage projects to completion.
• Produce specific metric reports upon request.
• Identify operational challenges, define root cause, and implement solutions.
• Communicate with engineers and leadership across the organization.
• Lead the operations engineers and set priorities.
