Job summary

Kennedy University Hospitals, Inc is seeking a Lead Registered EEG Technologist to perform advanced neurodiagnostic testing and provide day-to-day leadership for the EEG department. You will oversee EEG procedures, coordinate staffing, and mentor technologists while ensuring compliance with clinical standards.

This role requires a High School Diploma/GED, 3 years of EEG experience and the R-EEGT ABRET credential, with preferred associates degree in neurodiagnostic technology or related field.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of EEG or neurodiagnostic experience.
• R-EEGT - Registered Electroencephalographic Technologist - ABRET Neurodiagnostic Credentialing & Accreditation

Responsibilities

• Perform and oversee EEG procedures, ensuring high-quality diagnostic testing and compliance with clinical standards.
• Coordinate daily department operations, including staff scheduling, patient appointments, workload distribution, and coverage planning to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Train, mentor, and provide guidance to EEG technologists, students, and new employees; support competency assessment and ongoing staff development.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families, physicians, and staff by addressing concerns, answering questions, resolving issues, and supporting quality improvement initiatives and documentation requirements.
