Qualifications

• Must meet Department of Human Services (DHS) qualifications for a Lead Educator in a licensed child care center.
• Demonstrated experience working with young students in a licensed early childhood education setting.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop age-appropriate, play-based lesson plans aligned with early learning standards.
• Foster a positive classroom culture focused on safety, belonging and curiosity.
• Observe and assess student development and tailor instruction to needs.
• Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and development.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement and guidance.
• Communicate daily with families using the Parent Communication app and other channels.
• Pursue ongoing professional development and collaborate with colleagues and leadership.
