Qualifications

• Must meet Department of Human Services (DHS) qualifications for a Lead Educator in a licensed child care center.
• Demonstrated experience with young students in licensed early childhood settings.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement play-based, age-appropriate lessons aligned with early learning standards.
• Maintain a positive classroom culture and foster belonging, safety, and curiosity.
• Observe and assess student progress to tailor instruction and support individual needs.
• Document student progress accurately and communicate updates to families.
• Establish a respectful classroom environment and manage behavior with positive guidance.
• Conduct daily cleaning and sanitizing to keep a safe learning space.
• Coordinate with parents to support learning at school and home.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and collaborate with staff.
