Yellow Brick Road is hiring a Lead Educator to create warm, inclusive learning spaces where children thrive. You’ll plan play-based lessons, observe progress, and maintain a positive classroom culture focused on safety and curiosity.

You’ll collaborate with families, deliver daily updates, and participate in ongoing professional development to continually improve teaching practices and outcomes for young learners.

Qualifications

• Must meet DHS qualifications for Lead Educator in a licensed child care center.
• Experience working with young students in licensed early childhood settings.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and meet physical demands.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement play-based, age-appropriate lessons aligned with early learning standards.
• Observe and assess student development and tailor instruction accordingly.
• Maintain a positive, safe classroom culture and manage behavior with positive guidance.
• Provide daily parent communication and collaborate with families on student learning.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and share best practices with colleagues.
