Yellow Brick Road Early Childhood Development Center is seeking a Lead Educator to create warm, inclusive classrooms and lead curriculum planning for young learners. You will support social, emotional, and cognitive development while collaborating with families and staff to foster a safe, joyful environment.

The role emphasizes ongoing professional development, compliance with licensing requirements, and responsible use of technology for planning and daily reporting.

Qualifications

• Must meet DHS qualifications for a Lead Educator in a licensed child care center.
• Experience working with young students in licensed early childhood settings.
• Knowledge of early childhood development principles and best practices.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.

Responsabilités

• Plan and implement age-appropriate, play-based lessons aligned with standards.
• Maintain a positive, safe classroom culture that supports Belonging and curiosity.
• Observe and assess student progress and document outcomes for families and leadership.
• Manage classroom behavior with positive reinforcement and supportive guidance.
• Communicate daily with families through the Parent Communication app and other channels.
