Job summary

Bright Horizons East Street is seeking a Lead Educator to guide curriculum delivery, mentor educators, and engage families in a supportive, inclusive program. The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate practices and anti-bias education within a collaborative teaching team.

Qualifications include a CDA with a plan toward an associate degree, and a minimum of three years’ experience in quality early childhood settings; state background checks are required.

Qualifications

• CDA with an educational plan to complete an associate degree is required.
• Pass state and company background checks per requirements.
• At least three years of professional teaching experience in child care, daycare, or preschool.
• NAEYC-accredited center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team in implementing high-quality, developmentally appropriate curriculum aligned with our philosophy and anti-bias education
• Be a curriculum expert and use educational quality tools to assess and enhance program implementation
• Partner and communicate effectively with families, while mentoring new teachers and serving as a role model for the teaching team
