Job summary

Qualigence International is seeking a Lead Electrical Discharge Machine Operator in Mentor, OH, to own the Charmilles sinker and wire EDM department. You will set up, program, and maintain the EDM equipment, reading blueprints, GD&T, and CAD/CAM data to plan operations.

You will select electrodes, fixtures, wire types, and machine parameters, uphold tight tolerances, and perform first-article and in-process inspections while mentoring machinists and collaborating with engineering, programming,

Qualifications

• Experience with sinker and wire EDM setup, programming, and operation.
• Charmilles experience strongly preferred.
• Blueprint reading and GD&T proficiency required.
• Experience with EDM CAM software and precision measuring tools.
• Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
• Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented.
• Technical/trade school or apprenticeship experience is a plus.

What You'll Do
