Job summary

Wildtype, a sister agency of Remedy Edge within Omnicom Health, seeks an Editorial Group Supervisor to manage workflow and supervise editors across a cluster of brands. You will lead the editorial process, provide feedback, and ensure materials for physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients progress from manuscript to publication.

You will train staff, coordinate timelines, and uphold strict AMA style guidelines, delivering high-quality, accurate content.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Managerial/supervisory experience in medical content editing in pharmaceutical advertising agency, in-house agency, or medical publishing company.
• Knowledge of AMA Manual of Style, 10th edition essential.
• Articulate oral and written communication skills essential.
• Curiosity/interest in medical topics essential.
• Strong organization and attention to detail with ability to oversee multiple products.

Responsibilities

• Managing workflow and supervising staff for a cluster of products.
• Lead editor on one product and a team member on others; train new team members.
• Editing, fact checking, and proofreading materials for physicians, other healthcare professionals, and patients from manuscript through publication.
• Coordinate timing and quality control of projects, including content editing, styling, proofreading, and fact checking.
