Job summary

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites for EDI transaction workflows.
• Validate inbound and outbound EDI transactions across X12, EDIFACT, ANSI, XML, JSON formats.
• Automate UI workflows using Playwright with TypeScript.
• Develop and execute API automation tests for integration services, middleware, and downstream systems.
• Define and drive the QA strategy for EDI platforms and related applications.
• Architect scalable Playwright automation frameworks for UI-driven EDI processes.
• Establish API automation standards, reusable libraries, and CI/CD quality gates.
• Lead automation coverage planning for EDI flows, partner onboarding, and mappings.
• Drive shift-left testing, risk-based regression, and release readiness governance.
• Review automation design, code quality, and test coverage across the team.
• Coordinate with solution architects, dev teams, business stakeholders, and trading partners.
• Analyse production or release issues and define preventive and corrective measures.
• Provide QA estimates, status reporting, risks, dependencies, and mitigations to stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor QA engineers on EDI testing, Playwright automation, and API validation.
