Job summary

Saint Luke’s Health System seeks an Emergency Department Registered Nurse for Saint Luke’s Community Hospital in Leawood. This Full Time Mids (10a-10p) role offers direct patient care across acuity levels and ongoing assessments.

Requirements include 3-5 years ED RN experience, Basic Life Support, KS RN licensure, and an Associate Degree. You will triage, stabilize, collect histories and labs, and contribute to QAPI efforts in a collaborative team environment.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of ED RN experience preferred.
• Basic Life Support - American Heart Association or Red Cross.
• Registered Nurse (KS) - NCSBN/NURSYS.

Responsibilities

• Triage patients and prioritize needs.
• Stabilize patients and assist in managing life support with physicians and staff.
• Collect detailed patient histories and vital signs; perform timely care.
• Collect labs and perform testing per CLIA and policies.
• Report adverse treatments or medications per policies.
• Participate in QAPI activities and accreditation processes.
