Job summary

BRG’s Economics, Disputes & Investigations practice seeks an experienced consultant to lead project workstreams, provide strategic guidance, and mentor junior staff. The role involves economic, statistical, and financial analyses, with client leadership responsibilities and oversight of engagements that may be quantitative or qualitative.

Qualified candidates have 4+ years in advisory settings, experience with antitrust matters, and strong Excel/statistical tool skills.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree with an academic focus on a quantitative discipline (Economics, Finance, Mathematics, Statistics)
• ABD or PhDs will be considered for the Economist track
• Minimum four (4+) years of experience in an advisory firm managing commercial disputes
• Minimum two (2+) years of experience antitrust & competition litigation matters
• Strong leadership capabilities and ability to communicate with junior and senior staff
• Experience working with large data sets in Excel and/or statistical analysis programs (SAS, Stata, R)
• Demonstrated ability to create strategic visions and implement strategies with a proven track record
• Collaborative mindset and a desire to build a broader reputation in the marketplace

Responsibilities

• Design economic, statistical, and financial analyses for engagement work streams
• Model financial data and markets; oversee quantitative and qualitative analyses
• Manage client relationships and present deliverables to clients
• Mentor junior staff and ensure quality control across projects
• Expand business through industry research and cross-functional collaboration
