Job summary

Sentara Heart Hospital in Norfolk, VA is seeking a Senior Echocardiographer to perform and analyze advanced echocardiographic studies including TTE, TEE, and stress tests. You will lead and mentor the non-invasive cardiac lab team, manage schedules, and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.

Minimum education includes an associate degree with an accredited echocardiography program; certification/licensure requirements apply.

Qualifications

• Qualified to perform and analyze advanced echocardiographic procedures.
• Experience mentoring junior staff and coordinating schedules.
• Knowledge of IAC Guidelines is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform transthoracic, transesophageal, and stress echocardiography.
• Mentor staff and ensure quality patient care.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team for diagnostics.
