Job summary

Level I–III responsibilities include routine and advanced imaging, quality assurance, and teaching responsibilities for students and staff within the echocardiography lab.

Qualifications

• Graduate or completion of program that meets eligibility requirements for registry/certification.
• ARDMS/CCI certification in Echocardiography (or eligible for within 18 months).
• BLS certification and ongoing professional development as required.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine echocardiograms and enter preliminary interpretation for review by cardiology.
• Operate ultrasound equipment, manage call coverage and maintain quality and safety standards.
• Participate in education, quality improvement activities and interdepartmental clinical instruction.
