Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Hillsboro, Oregon is seeking a dedicated Teacher to lead classrooms, model best practices, and deliver KinderCare’s curriculum with fidelity.

In this role you will mentor less experienced teachers, partner with families to support each child’s growth, and collaborate with center staff to drive enrollment, accreditation, and engagement. A strong focus on safety, development, and inclusivity guides daily work.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service and organizational skills.
• CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy in progress.
• State trainer approval preferred.
• 2–3 years Early Childhood Education experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Meet state qualifications or willingness to obtain.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.
• Able to lift 40 pounds and work indoors or outdoors.
• English literacy to communicate with children and parents.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in a way that is consistent with the unique needs of each child
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn
• Partner and connect with parents, with a shared desire to provide the best care and education for their children
• Support your center’s success; partner with center staff and leadership to achieve goals around enrollment, accreditation, and engagement
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, state licensing authorities, community contacts and corporate partners
