Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a dedicated Teacher to join our team and support young children’s growth through evidence-based curricula. You’ll lead, mentor, and partner with families to create a nurturing, engaging classroom that fosters curiosity and confidence.

Successful candidates have CDA or NAEYC readiness, 2–3 years of early childhood experience, and a commitment to safety, inclusion, and professional development.

Qualifications

• Outstanding customer service, strong organization, multitasking abilities.
• Active CDA credential or NAEYC candidacy status.
• CPR and First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach and mentor less experienced teachers in your classroom; model behaviors and provide feedback.
• Implement KinderCare's curriculum in ways that meet the needs of each child.
• Create a safe, nurturing environment where children can play and learn.
• Partner and connect with parents to provide the best care and education for their children.
• Support center success; collaborate with staff and leadership to reach enrollment, accreditation, and engagement goals.
• Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, licensing authorities, community contacts, and corporate partners.
