Job summary

TCC Solutions seeks a Subject Matter Expert III to lead guidance on CCDBG, CCDF Final Rule, and ECE professional development systems. You will ensure SLA compliance, drive enhancements, and provide expert consultation to clients and internal teams.

Minimum 7 years in state-level early childhood education with strong analytical and communication skills is required. Bachelor’s degree is essential, with master’s preferred. Hybrid opportunities exist for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of state-level experience in early childhood education.
• In-depth knowledge of CCDBG, Head Start, and PreK programs.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to assess complex systems and identify improvements.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for diverse stakeholders.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
• Experience with ECEC technology platforms.
• Bachelor’s degree required; master’s degree or higher preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support clients in developing ECEC data system solutions that align with federal requirements and state-specific needs.
• Monitor subcontractor performance for quality, timeliness, and contractual compliance.
• Recommend and contribute to prioritization of enhancements to the Ascend Early Childhood Solution in response to regulatory changes.
• Develop client- and stakeholder-facing materials including training, support documents, and communication drafts.
• Support coordination of call center communication and provider outreach campaigns.
• Support reporting and data requests as needed.
• Collaborate with Business Analysts and Developers to design system improvements for usability and data accuracy.
• Perform quality assurance on solution developments and recommend improvements.
• Serve as a subject matter expert providing guidance to internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Contribute to public-facing materials (e.g. white papers, webinar content, social media posts).
• Represent TCC at conferences and industry events, including presenting annually.
