Job summary

The Learning Experience in Mesa, AZ is seeking a Lead Teacher to set the academic foundation for young learners and to model joy, curiosity, and confidence. You’ll lead classrooms, mentor fellow educators, and partner with families to support each child's development.

The ideal candidate has extensive experience in early childhood education, meets state guidelines, holds or is pursuing ECE credentials, and embraces a proactive, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Must meet state guidelines for the role.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Experience in childcare with leadership roles preferred.
• Must meet immunization and health/safety training requirements.
• Age 18+ required.

Responsibilities

• Classroom leadership: plan, prepare, and collaborate to create a stimulating space for learning and play.
• Curriculum implementation: apply the LEAP Curriculum with infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers.
• Safety first: maintain a safe, nurturing environment for all children.
• Family communication: regularly update parents on progress and milestones via apps and in-person discussions.
• Center collaboration: work with staff and leadership to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement.
• Relationship builder: foster warm relationships with families and colleagues.
