Job summary

Children's Land is seeking a Lead Teacher to nurture a vibrant learning environment for two-year-old children. You will craft age-appropriate lessons, monitor milestones, and maintain a structured daily routine while ensuring safety and hygiene.

Collaboration with families and staff is essential to support each child’s development. The ideal candidate holds an Associate or Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education, with experience with toddlers, mandated reporter certification, and CPR/First Aid.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate or Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Prior experience with two-year-olds or young children preferred.
• Mandated Reporter certification and CPR/First Aid are required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment and be patient with children.

Responsibilities

• Develop and follow age-appropriate lesson plans for two-year-olds.
• Monitor developmental milestones; maintain detailed progress records.
• Facilitate a structured daily routine including play, learning, and rest periods.
• Ensure safety by following protocols and guidelines.
• Maintain a clean, hygienic classroom to prevent illness.
• Collaborate with parents to share child development updates.
• Work with staff to ensure cohesive teamwork and program quality.
• Create and use educational materials to stimulate senses and learning.
• Organize activities that promote exploration and motor skill development.
